3 year old Khadija fighting for her life.

Asalamu'Alikum,

My name is Farhana,
A proud mother who is actively involved in the well being of my children's health and day to
day life. We are very fortunate to reside in a country where the NHS takes care of our medical needs for free or next to nothing compared to many countries around the world. So coming across this story of a little girl in our humble village in Bangladesh was heartbreaking.

Khadija is 3 years old and her parents discovered she has a brain tumour after crying non-stop for weeks. Due to living in sever poverty conditions and fear of high cost of medical bills, the parents delayed the visit until they could delay it no longer. Doctors discovered a tumour in her head and also water has been swelling in Khadija’s brain. Due to the nature of her condition she was sent to the capital city of Dhaka to perform an emergency operation to drain the water out first. *

Khadija is a happy, charming vibrant young girl, youngest in the family and captured the hearts of many within the village. Her cheeky smiles and witty responses always make others laugh and warm to her personality. Khadija has her whole life ahead of her. Since being in hospital she is confused and drained. Alien to her experience all she wants is to go home.

Khadijas parents are in constant crippling fear of what will happen to their child if they cannot afford to pay for the operation. The family is generally self sufficient and make ends meet. day to day. However, this operation is beyond their reach.

Your kind donation will go towards paying for Khadija’s operation in removing the brain tumour, cost of staying in the hospital and aftercare medical bills.

I am hopeful that many of us can empathise and parents, siblings, uncles, aunts and friends to kindly donate to contributing towards giving Khadija a second chance in life. We do not lose anything by giving charity, rather gain in abundance in this life and the next. Allah says. in the Quran: "And whoever saves a life it is as though he had saved the lives of all mankind". (5:32).

Please keep Khadija and her family in your prayers through these testing and challenging times. We trust in our Lord to do what is best and hopeful of the generosity of our brothers and sisters in humanity to come together for this dire cause. Please let's all come together and send Khadija home in good health and well being, back to her normal cheeky, charming self.

A huge thank you in advance for all your kindness and prayer.
