3000 inNov squat challenge,in aid of breast cancer

Hi my name is Fiona Keane (Moran). I was diagnosed with breast cancer last September 2021.

I am a cardiac nurse in Mayo University hospital and was on carer's leave at the time to care for my amazing dad ,who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, earlier that year in March 2021.

We had already lost my wonderful Mum in Feb 2019 who had so bravely battled ovarian cancer for 6 years, since 2013.

Both Mam and Dad received their treatments in Mayo University oncology unit, while I received my chemotherapy in Sligo University hospital oncology unit.

It was such a tough year and we lost Dad in March 2022, as I was just finishing my chemotherapy.

I really want to give something back and show my appreciation to all these amazing people and to help raise essential funding, for these causes that are so vital and personal to me. This fundraiser is for oncology units in both Mayo and Sligo hospitals and Mater breast cancer foundation.
