30 Miles for Diabetes Research
Tax deductible
Hello! This year I turn 30 years old with the opportunity to make a difference for a cause near and dear to me. As some of you may know, my father and his side of the family struggle with diabetes. At times, we can feel helpless when trying to help our loved ones with diabetes and other diseases. However, this year I’d like to change that helpless feeling into one of hope by raising funds for the American Diabetes Association with the goal of furthering diabetes research, education, and resources allocated to the cause. To make this somewhat interesting I will be combining my love of running with this personal cause and I will be running 30 miles on the roads of Long Island. For every mile I run, I have a donation goal of 50 dollars per mile for a total of 1500 dollars. Obviously no single person has to donate 50 dollars and I don’t expect that, but any donation would be greatly appreciated! Please join me in making a difference this year. Also join me for a few miles along the way if you enjoy running as much as I do. Thank you so much for reading and donating and I hope to see you out on the roads on April 30th!
