30 Poems in 30 Days for Ithaca Sanctuary Alliance
Tax deductible
The Ithaca Reform Temple, (Tikkun V'Or) appreciates your willingness to address the global refugee crisis concretely and locally. Your provision of monetary assistance to the Central American family seeking safety in the US currently in residence at our local sanctuary, supported by the Ithaca Sanctuary Alliance, translates symbolically, but literally, into incentive for individual poets anywhere in the world to practice their craft daily this month. 30poems30daysithacasanctuary.blogspot.com Enjoy the array of subject matter and inspiring craft on our poetry blog, already featuring 200 new poems by an equally diverse array of writers: New poets are welcome anytime in Sept. Use "contact" to volunteer.
Tikkun V'Or is a member of the Ithaca Sanctuary Alliance and we launched this September, 2020 "30 Poems in 30 Days" fundraiser to benefit the ongoing needs of the Sanctuary Ministry at the First Congregational Church as it supports the Central American family currently in residence, who are seeking protection in the US. The COVid pandemic has heightened the desperate need of all human beings for a home, and questions of "home" are often the subject of poetry.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the congregants of the Ithaca Reform Temple (Tikkun V'or), the Sanctuary Alliance members, and all lovers of poems and social justice everywhere. 50 cents a poem would mean a $15 donation, and a dollar a poem would mean $30. Of course, you are welcome to contribute more. And if you can't make a donation, it would be great if you could share the link to the fundraiser with both the poets and the potential donors in your life.
If you are a poet who wants to participate and will expand our efforts with your own donation appeal to friends, family members, and fans, and/or you would like to post a poem today or tomorrow, please use the contact button to get support and further communication.
