Sostieni Jacopo nella realizzazione del suo più grande sogno

Ciao, mi chiamo Jacopo, ho 20 anni e vengo da Trento. Sono un grande appassionato di sport outdoor. Da qualche anno mi sono avvicinato al mondo del ciclismo, che mi ha sempre entusiasmato per la libertà che offre e per il senso di esplorazione. L'anno scorso sono diventato guida cicloescursionistica. Col tempo ho capito di essere più adatto al bikepacking, per il suo spirito di esplorazione che unisce il viaggio al ciclismo.

Quest'estate ho deciso di prendermi una pausa per andare negli Stati Uniti e attraversarli da solo in bicicletta, da Vancouver a San Diego. È un lungo viaggio di quasi 3000 km che sogno da anni, ma non ho mai avuto il tempo e la liquidità per realizzarlo. Ho scelto proprio questo itinerario perché ho sempre voluto visitare la West Coast americana e quale miglior modo di farlo se non con una bici e una tenda. Partire dal Canada ed arrivare in Messico con le proprie energie, essendo autosufficienti in un viaggio ecosostenibile, attraversando le più belle città costiere americane attraverso Washington, l’Oregon e la magnifica California. Voglio cosi dimostrare alla società odierna che non tutti i giovani sono molli e hanno poca voglia di fare ma che c'è anche gente intraprendente e che fa di tutto per seguire ciò che più ama con determinazione. So di essere abbastanza alternativo rispetto ai miei coetanei ma, invece che seguire la massa, cerco di seguire ciò che più amo, mettendo tutto me stesso nella realizzazione di questo progetto.

Ora mi mancano solo i fondi economici per concretizzare il mio progetto. Solamente il volo costa sugli 800 euro se preso in anticipo. Inoltre spedire la bici e tutto il necessario negli USA non è proprio economico e, infatti, ho deciso di comprarne una nuova direttamente a Vancouver (1000 euro). In aggiunta mii serve tutto il set up delle borse per la bici, che saranno i miei zaini da viaggio, contenenti il necessario per sopravvivere. Insomma, una grande spesa per la realizzazione di un sogno che ho fin da bambino. È da anni che sto accumulando soldi per questo progetto, ma le spese sono veramente alte e per questo chiedo a tutti voi un aiuto economico. Hi, my name is Jacopo, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Trento. I'm a big fan of outdoor sports. A few years ago, I got into the world of cycling, which has always thrilled me for the freedom it offers and the sense of exploration. Last year, I became a cycle touring guide. Over time, I realized that I'm more suited to bikepacking, for its spirit of exploration that combines travel and cycling.

This summer, I've decided to take a break and go to the United States to cross the country alone by bicycle, from Vancouver to San Diego. It's a long journey of almost 3000 km that I've dreamed of for years, but I've never had the time and funds to make it happen. I chose this route because I've always wanted to visit the American West Coast, and what better way to do it than with a bike and a tent. Starting from Canada and reaching Mexico with my own energy, being self-sufficient in an eco-friendly journey, crossing the most beautiful coastal cities in America through Washington, Oregon, and magnificent California. I want to show today's society that not all young people are lazy and unmotivated, but that there are also enterprising people who do everything to follow what they love with determination. I know I am quite different from my peers, but instead of following the crowd, I try to follow what I love the most, putting all of myself into realizing this project.

Now I only need the funds to make my project a reality. Just the flight costs around 800 euros if booked in advance. Additionally, shipping the bike and all the necessary gear to the USA is not exactly cheap, so I've decided to buy a new one directly in Vancouver (1000 euros). Moreover, I need the whole setup of bags for the bike, which will be my travel backpacks, containing the essentials for survival. In short, it's a big expense to realize a dream I've had since I was a child. I've been saving money for this project for years, but the expenses are really high, and that's why I'm asking all of you for financial help.
