300km Christmas Cycle (Completed)

Hi there, my name is Zane and this year I turned 18.
Since properly starting work, I have come across many individuals that have opened my eyes to the hardships of adulthood. I’d serve and deal with many homeless individuals that would come into my work, often begging customers for money and or a coffee. At first I was quite shocked, but then I realised it was just out of desperation not malice. As a result, my work has started a “pay it forward scheme” where customers would stick post-it notes onto the walls of our shop, with a number, allowing people to grab a coffee in a judge free and safe environment.
This small act of service has inspired me to do my part for the community. I am in an extremely fortunate position to ride cool bikes and ultimately do what I enjoy the most, and to fundraise alongside something I am already passionate about couldn’t make a better Christmas. All proceeds will be going to feeding the homeless, I have chosen the Salvation Army as they are big advocates for catering the homeless during Christmas and the cold months.
I’ll be cycling a 300km route, over 2000m of climbing, circling the majority of London heading to Cambridge and back. I’ll be setting off in the early morning on Christmas Day, and I’ll be updating the challenge on my instagram @zaneprocter.
Thank you very much for stopping to take a read, any donations will be greatly appreciated and if you cannot donate don’t stress whatsoever. I can already imagine the back pain and cramps, but it’ll all be worth it!
As Elliot would say, Let’s get it.
