31 More Years at Michael’s Apparel

Michael’s Apparel, formerly Michael’s Hip Hop Shop. Has been a staple Black Owned Business providing clothing and accessories , not just for the local South Side Community; but for people across the state of MN. Since 1989, we have served people from all walks of life, across the city, state, and even country. We have proudly served our community for 31 years. And we hope to serve it for 31 more and beyond. As our founder, father, uncle, husband, and grandfather Michael Reese used to say, “It don’t cost nothing to look!” So please, make sure that people can still come look. Please assist us in rebuilding. It hurt us when the site of the original location burned down on 736-738 Lake Street,Memorial Day 2018. However, if we pull together, we guarantee we will stay on 1108 East Lake Street as long as there is a community to serve.
