Help Ofc. AJ Gazda brain tumor recovery

All of us here at the Lake in the Hills Police Department and Carpentersville Police Department along with his family and many friends are raising funds to help fellow Lake in the Hills Officer AJ Gazda, during his recovery.

A regular visit to the eye doctor several weeks ago has led to the discovery of a brain tumor and now the months-long recovery from brain surgery (not rocket science!) to remove it.

AJ started with the Lake in the Hills PD 15 years ago and his journey has taken him from Police Explorer, to Disptach, to CSO and finally to his lifelong dream of police officer!

We are asking for prayers for his recovery and return to work and for funds to help him and his wife, Kara who is a Police Officer in Carpentersville, during the months-long recovery he now faces until he can return to active duty! All donations are deeply appreciated and all donations will be going directly to AJ and Kara!
