Rosie Perez was diagnosed with Gliobastoma (GBM) in April 2023 after not feeling well for several weeks. We lost Rosie on Sunday, February 18 at 1:29am. Her amazing family is devastated.

EVERYONE LOVED ROSIE because she did something we are not used to getting often enough - reciprocated LOVE.

Rosie braved surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and more, but the aggressive brain cancer ultimately took her body, but not her soul. That lives on. Forever.

Her husband Emilio - a veteran police officer with the City of Aventura, has been by Rosie's side from day one. Her entire family was right there as well - in support of Rosie, to help her through the medical challenges and provide some level of comfort.
