Please Help me Lay my Son to Rest!

Dear Family and Friends,
As you may be aware, our family is going through a very difficult time and has been since February of this year. Both my son, Bob, and my husband, Ken, are in the hospital. Ken is recovering from a tracheostomy and is slowly being weaned from the ventilator; however, he's making very slow progress due to his persistent pneumonia and other infections.
Our Bob, sadly, has Stage 4 Head and Neck Cancer that has metastisized to his bones, lymph nodes, and other organs. Due to this condition, our Bob went into cardiac arrest twice and was revived. Doctors say he suffered anoxic brain injuries both times. Bob has not regained any meaningful consciousness and is suffering greatly. Our family can't stand to witness him in such distress and realize that although Bob pledged to fight, there is just no fight left in our poor Bob.
Sadly, Bob did not get treatment consistently enough because of his mental illness. For months, he'd been having horrible, crippling delusions and thought one of his old friends had broken into his house and cut his tongue. Bob kept going from doctor to doctor, looking for answers but never fully believed he had cancer. My daughter, Becky, and I did everything in our power to get Bob the help he needed, but the mental health system failed him drastically. My family firmly believes that had Bob's mental illness been addressed, his cancer diagnosis would have been handled differently. Sadly, it started out as tongue cancer, a cancer that can be treated more successfully when caught early.
When looking into Bob's affairs, we found that Bob never purchased life insurance. This is just something my 47 year- old- son didn't think was necessary. Bob thought he had all the time in the world! Very soon, as our Bob's condition deteriorates, this will present a huge problem for our family. I humbly ask for your donations to lay my Bob to rest.
