Hello everyone ! Sorry for the delay in updates. Unfortunately, we haven't had much to update you all on.

Firstly, we have had major issues with our insurance company, which have refused to pay us a penny, even though the fire was totally not our fault.

So we are having to take things further with the financial ombudsman We are hoping we can get some justice, and get what we are owed as its been traumatic enough to see Mrs Ts burned to ashes, let alone the incompetent insurance company is refusing to pay.

After 4 months of wasting our time with sending information and evidence to them, then they are sending a letter saying they won't pay out, which is unacceptable, and has caused us severe stress and anxiety.

We are still going to continue with the build and bring Mrs Ts back by February/March 2024 ready for the new season as we are going to do our best to get a business loan to help us get back on our feet.

This is not ideal as it means an expensive payout every month for us and put us back to square one, which we have worked so hard to build over the past 13 years. But being a family business and our only source of income, we have to do whatever it takes to see you all again and continue with our quality fish and chips.

Chris, Carol, & Aaron will be down the harbour in the next couple of weeks, starting on the demolition to get the site cleared and ready for when we can build again. If anyone is in the area, come over to say hi !

We will update you on the days we will be working on the demolition, so keep an eye out.

I'm fundraising for mrs t's fish and chip shop

In southwold harbour.

As I'm sure many of you are already aware A devastating fire happened early hours of the 1st may and has destroyed the small family run buisness 

They have had so much love and support on social media posts and many of you suggested a fundraiser.

This will be to support the family , staff and buisness at this unfortunate time.

We Will keep you updated each step of the way.
