Support Pam and Patrick During Their Time of Need

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing to ask for your help and support for my sister Pam and her son. As some of you may know, her son Patrick has been suffering from some severe spasms that have left him homebound. This condition has gone largely undiagnosed by the doctors they visited through multiple ER trips and across-state visits to see a specialist. This condition causes Patrick severe pain and sometimes the spasms in his legs can last up to 5 hours and they happen at random which is why he's now homebound. This condition started in the right leg, starting with pain. His leg is constantly tremoring which is why he's unable to walk. The pain has now spread to his left leg and tremors and spasms have now started in that leg.

While this sounds minor to some, it's affected his ability to walk and lead a normal life that any 15-year-old should be leading. Whatever this condition is, it requires ongoing treatment and care and additional testing. Through all of this, my sister is now unable to provide these things as a result of her insurance premiums and all of the work she has missed as a result of taking Patrick to multiple appointments and specialists to find out why this is happening to her baby.

Over the past few months, my sister has been doing everything she can to ensure that her son receives the best possible medical care, but the cost of his treatments and related expenses have put an enormous financial strain on the family. As a result, they are struggling to make ends meet and are at risk of falling behind on bills and expenses.

As her sibling, it breaks my heart to see my sister and her son going through such a difficult time. That's why I am reaching out to all of you to ask for your help.
