Get Rick in a Spitfire for his BIG birthday....

Hi to friends and family

Rick has always made his love for planes known (sad, I know ). Living near Biggin Hill airport has reignited his desire to fly in a Spitfire for his big birthday in November. Unfortunately, the shortest flight costs £3k which is a stretch for me at the moment and wondered if any of his friends and family would rather chip in some money to help get him in the air, rather than buying him a pint at the pub or posting a card. I feel rather uncomfortable asking so please don't feel obliged but maybe together we can get him up in this iconic plane. It's a SECRET though and if it doesn't come off I will of course return any donations. You'd all be welcome to come and watch him take off at Biggin Hill airport and will arrange some drinks and nibbles after.
