Hi, my name is Christina Moreno and I appreciate you taking the time to read about Izzy's story. Recently, my 13-year-old niece and her family were blindsided by the unimaginable. A small lump on her shoulder was diagnosed as an extremely aggressive childhood cancer (osteosarcoma). The cancer has already spread from her shoulder into her lungs. This diagnosis required immediate medical intervention, resulting in costs uncovered by insurance. All of the money donated will go to covering those costs and other unplanned costs of care.
