Hi, my name is Carla and I was recently in a bad car accident. A car ran a red light and T-boned me. They fled the scene of the accident. I have not been able to work since due to an injured leg and back. I am waiting for workers comp to process my claim, but I do not know how long that will take. I have rent due shortly and bills that are past due now and a bank account overdrawn. My car was totaled and my insurance company paid it off, along with gap insurance. I’m grateful for that, but that also means I have no transportation. I am horrified to be reaching out like this, but I worry about not being able to pay my rent. Any gift would be much appreciated.
