Support Nina's Battle Against Breast Cancer

My mom, Nina Bhatti, was diagnosed with stage 3b triple-negative breast cancer earlier this year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and eradicate the cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes in order to prepare for surgery early next year as well as be in full remission. She is currently undergoing two different regimens of chemotherapy and, God willing, will complete her treatment in January 2025. Nina is a mother to three daughters who are doing everything that they can to support her in every aspect, but they need help. While Nina is facing this challenge head-on and with a strength that is admirable, it has been a tough journey thus far. She not only is a mother, but also a daughter, friend, and sister and is needing the support and assistance of her community.

Due to this unexpected diagnosis as well as the lengthy and harsh treatment, Nina has had to stop working, which has caused a significant area of stress for her and her daughters. Up until she got sick and started treatment, she was working as much as she could in order to provide for herself. She is now taking a leave of absence from working and focusing all her time and energy on recovery, healing, and fully beating cancer. Without her usual income, the funds raised from this campaign are important as they will be used to cover any unexpected medical bills, make up for lost wages, and to ensure that basic living costs are taken care of month to month.
