Fund Robin Stine's "Live from Italy" CD

I'm excited to share with you an amazing opportunity that I've been given to take my music career to the next level. In order to accept this invitation I'm going to need your help. I've been invited to perform at two musical events in Sicily where I will record a "Live from Italy" CD and compete for the opportunity to perform on a U.S. tour that opens at Carnegie Hall in Spring 2014.

To start off I will perform 5 nights in the 22nd Annual Ibla International Music Festival and Competition where I was selected from many talented musicians around the world to perform and compete. This competition/festival will allow me to make connections with top musicians from around the globe, and the grand prize for finalists is a U.S. tour next Spring that begins at Carnegie Hall in New York, NY. The second festival, located in Palermo, is a new jazz event where I will record my first-ever live CD with a talented group of Italian jazz musicians including guitarist Lino Costa of the Palermo Jazz Institute.


The musical theme for my performances and the recording is something I saw in a vintage children's music book with a group of songs called "Traveling Songs". My idea is to sing in 5 languages that represent different countries I've traveled to over the years including French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and English. These are some of the most beautiful songs I've ever learned and I'm really excited about finally recording them!

This trip to perform and record in Italy represents an open door to the next phase for me as a musician. Without a doubt, it will be life-changing for me and for my career. It's taken several years of hard work to get to this point, and I'm really excited about the possibilities down the road. Over the years I have been so grateful for the support, encouragement, and love of my friends, family, and people who know my music. Your encouragement has helped me in so many ways and is a big part of how I came to be where I am today. And it's what encouraged me to decide to launch this campaign to fund the trip, the performances, and the live CD recording.

Everyone who contributes to this project will not only receive a copy of the CD I record in Italy, you'll be able to enjoy being a part of the creation of some very beautiful music that will circulate the globe bringing lots of peace, love and harmony with it.
