Help With Medical and Family Expenses for Aaron
Donation protected
Hello, everyone
On the afternoon of June 22, 2023, our precious Aaron O. Hunter III, affectionately known as "Lil AA", 13 years-old, tragically suffered a gunshot wound to the head about a block away from his home. Thanks to the miracle-working power of God, and the quick action of first responders, Aaron did not succumb to these serious injuries. However, this has now created a critical medical crisis that will require round-the-clock care, and potentially many more surgeries and procedures in addition to the multiple life-saving measures that have already been performed on Aaron. In this critical period and beyond, Aaron will face a long road to recovery and restoration.
His loving parents, father Aaron O. Hunter, Sr. and mother Erica M. Dorsey both work full-time to provide for Aaron and his siblings, and will now be required to take a significant amount of time away from their jobs to be with their son during this critical time, as he recovers at Johns Hopkins All Children's Medical Center, and as he faces therapy and rehabilitation in the immediate future. We, the family of Aaron, ask that you consider donating whatever you feel is appropriate to help cover the mounting medical expenses as well as the numerous other expenses this family will incur as Aaron heals from his injuries.
Aaron is well-loved by his family and in his community. He is a loving young man who is known to be very helpful whenever he can, including helping look after his baby sister, and cooking breakfast for his siblings. He also enjoys fishing with his dad. Aaron is a student at Brookside Middle School in Sarasota. The outpouring of love and the prayers that have gone forth on behalf of Aaron have been effective and appreciated. Your donations and financial assistance will be immensely appreciated as well.
Thank you all!
