Andy's Hip Replacement

Anyone who knows my friend Andy knows he is not the type to ask for help, so I am asking for him. Last year in OCT, after years of dealing with crippling pain, restricted life and hopeless days caused by his disintegrated hip, Andy got a hip replacement on his left side. He worked seven days a week for over a year to save for the medical bills and expenses he would incur while out of work. Sadly, shortly after his first hip replacement, the other side rapidly worsened. Andy again found himself in the same despair he had worked so hard to rise out of. Anyone who knows Andy knows what a special person he is. His heart is full of love and generosity- giving to his friends, family and strangers. Whether you need a friend or a favor, Andy will always make sure that you are taken care of.

To get his other hip replaced, Andy again was working two jobs, seven days a week. I’ve watched him limp in pain and witnessed his face fill with agony, even with the simplest tasks like getting in and out of his car. Andy has now had to quit his job because he can barely walk and must use a walker. He no longer has the capability to earn the money needed for the surgery. I’m hoping that we can all help and show Andy a little of the love and support he has always shown to everyone he meets. Please, let’s help him raise the money for this much-needed surgery.
