Tyler's Road To Recovery

UPDATE: Tyler has regained consciousness and is advancing in his recovery. He is eating real food and taking the steps necessary to walk on his own. His kindness and sense of humor are still intact. He might actually be funnier. He is very grateful for all your support and kindness. He still has a long road ahead, but he is proving to be relentless in his recovery.

Dear friends, family and kindhearted individuals,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and a plea for support.

On the evening of June 15th our beloved friend, Tyler was riding his motorcycle on the way home when he was involved in a tragic accident. Tyler had his helmet on but, due to the impact, it fell off. This tragic accident is no fault of Tyler but, has left him with extensive injuries, the most serious being a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). He has been in the ICU since the accident on a ventilator.

In the past 2 weeks, he has had surgery on a broken femur, surgery on his spine and recently had to get a tracheotomy.

During this time, he has been in very critical condition. He has been putting up a good fight for his life, but still has a long road to recovery to get him back to being the active and happy person that he is.

This Go Fund Me has been started to ease the burden that he and his family will have during his recovery. There are many tough days, weeks and months ahead of them.

We are asking for your support, both emotionally and financially during this difficult time.
