A Hand Up For A Combat Veteran

My name is Emily Adams. I'm starting this page for a fellow Combat Veteran, named David Brown. David is currently living & working at Walmart. He lives in the parking lot in his RV. He's struggling severely with adjusting to civilian life after combat & needs a hand up. Not a handout, a hand back up! Losing your way is all too easy when battling the scars of war. I myself have been a victim of this scenario. David is essentially homeless as he struggles to afford heating costs in his RV & can't get ahead. He needs help to secure housing & be able to get on his feet again. He's been battling the VA for the health care benefits he so desperately needs, & with his Disability Claim. If he is able to secure stable housing, he can persue work suitable for him & have the opportunity to sustain himself. All any Veteran wants is to be productive & find our place again once we return. That's extremely difficult to do for most. I'm so touched by the outpouring of support from our community to help him! Let's end homelessness & hopelessness one veteran at a time, as often as we're able! This amount will cover first & lasts months rent, along with basic living items to furnish a small apartment. It makes a huge difference no matter what you're able to give. Thank you so much for your help!
