Help Evan buy a house

My name is Evan, and I am reaching out to you with a deeply personal request for support. As many
of you know, I am a full-time artist and activist, passionately dedicated to using art as a medium for
social change. Recently, I embarked on an incredible journey by purchasing a beautiful church in
Fairmount, North Dakota. My dream is to transform this sacred space into a community hub, a
pottery studio, and an artist-in-residency program, a sanctuary for creativity, learning, and communal
growth.
This mission is profoundly personal to me. Not long ago, I faced the harsh realities of homelessness. I experienced the fear, uncertainty, and isolation that comes with not having a stable place to call home. Art was my lifeline during those difficult times, giving me purpose and hope. Now, I am determined to create a space where others can find the same solace and support that I desperately needed.
To make this vision a reality, I need a secure and stable home close to the church. The houses in Fairmount are wonderfully affordable compared to the rest of the country, but I need your help to raise at least $50,000 to buy a house that will be my very first real home. Ideally, we hope to raise up to $150,000 to secure a larger residence that can also house the artists and residents of our program.
This is more than just a house; it is a home where dreams will be nurtured, where artists can thrive, and where a community can come together. Your support will ensure that I can focus on building and nurturing this program without the stress and uncertainty of unstable housing.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to this dream. Your generosity will help us build not just a house, but a vibrant, supportive community where art and activism can flourish. Please, consider donating, sharing this campaign with your friends and family, and following our journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read about our mission. Your support means the world to me. Together, we can create a home and a community where art, activism, and positive change flourish.
With heartfelt gratitude and hope,
- Evan Marnell
