3401 Shelbourne fire fund

Hi, my name is Courtenay. I am fundraising for my mother in law, Sylvia Cummins, who just experienced a house fire early this morning at her rental 3401 Shelbourne Street.

She is a retired nurse, a career that began at St. Joseph’s hospital in the spring of 1970 and finished at Sandringham Care Centre on September 2021. She is still active in the community and in the music and dancing scene.

Her rental is now condemned and we are presently searching for a new residence.

We are asking for assistance from the community while she navigates this unexpected event. She will have to find temporary housing and funds for living and moving. She is on a fixed income and any assistance no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
