Our mom, Kathy Berry, developed a brain infection in October that required extensive testing, hospitalization, and a craniotomy to remove a golf-ball sized infectious cyst in her brain. Since her surgery, she has been receiving treatment in an effort to eliminate two other infectious growths which are located in inoperable areas of the brain. In addition to her treatment, we just received news at a medical appointment yesterday that her decaying teeth, which are related to side effects from her heart medication, caused the infection and she has to have all teeth extracted by mid-January to prevent further infection. This is a substantial medical expense that insurance will only cover a fraction of. We would greatly appreciate your support and donation to assist with medical expenses from this difficult time and the upcoming surgery. Our mom is known to care for others selflessly to a point where she neglects her own needs, and we would love to come together to give back to her by assisting with medical expenses associated with illness, previous/impending surgery, and to help her on the road to recovery.
