Abington Loves Grace Memorial Fund

My name is Andrea Adams and I started this page to collect funds in order to give Grace Packer a proper memorial service. All of the money raised is going to pay for the service. Since we raised more than our original goal, we also decided to start a foundation called On Gracie's Wings. This foundation will assist foster children with the sometimes difficult transition into independent living. We will also support women and children that have been victims of domestic violence. As a mother of a 14 year old son that attended the same school as Grace, I was deeply concerned when I heard that Grace Packer was missing. Abington is a very small, safe and close-knit community. This fact made her disappearance even more disturbing. Now that the authorities have found her and given the circumstances that have been reported, I created this page as a way to give Grace a proper homegoing service. Everyone that knew Grace says that she was a sweet and kind young woman that had a heart for those with special needs. All of the proceeds of this fund will go to the planning and execution of a memorial service to honor Grace. Any remaining funds will be used as a scholarship award given in Grace's honor to a deserving student with special needs. We would also like to make a donation to a local charity that provides children dealing with domestic violence a safe place to go.
