Jacob Weinert's Family

Donation protected
On November 12, 2019 Jacob Weinert, a 28-year old father of two, was riding his bicycle to work when he was struck and killed by a pickup truck.  The driver fled the scene where Jacob would ultimately succumb to his injuries.

For several months, Jacob had been commuting by bicycle to his job as a forklift operator in Tampa, Florida while his fiance and children lived in Lockport, IL.  Jacob grew up in Lockport and was part of the Lockport Township High School class of 2009. His goal was to save enough money to move his family to Florida where he and his fiance hoped to raise their children. Suddenly and tragically, that dream was taken away from Izabel and their children, Jasper and Sapphire.

Please contribute what you can to help bring Jacob back to his family in Illinois  where he can be laid to rest. Any additional donations will be used to provide support for Jacob's beautiful children Jasper and Sapphire.

I am Jacob Weinert's brother, Robert Pappalardo and I am from Oak Park, IL. Proceeds raised will be used to provide assistance with any expenses related to transporting Jacob back to Illinois and/or burial services. Proceeds will be given to Jacob's fiance, Izabel and/or whoever will be handling payment of these related expenses via certified check. Remaining proceeds, if any, will be given to Izabel Sgier, Jacob's fiance to assist with the costs associated with raising their children and any related living expenses via certified check.
