Help Arlo Get Surgery

The photo is Arlo our 11 month kitten who was hit and run on Friday 28th January. He suffered a fractured hard palette (his mouth will require later reconstruction), a herniated diaphragm and a fractured pelvis.

 

We are raising complaints with the council due to the driving we have witnessed on this road also to make bigger changes in the future.

 

He has required oxygen tanks, multiple xrays and ultrasounds and it was confirmed that he needed surgery due to his organs rising into his chest.

The insurance company advised me upon agreement that my policy was £2,500 per injury and per treatment.

Until I was informed that this value was actually the full lump sum they could provide in total to assist financially with a bill of £5,800 already before the second surgery and additional requirements he has to fully heal. 

Following this and the rehabilitation costs we couldn't let him die as he is trying too hard to stay alive. On tuesday 1st Feb he is trying to walk only 4 days after! Hes a tough cookie.
