Barry Allen

Hi my name is Tiffany, I have recieved permission to help raise funds for a beautiful soul whom helped where he could.

These funds will help where possible, whether that may be towards the wake, medical expenses, families time off work including flights for those that had to travel from work whilst he was in hospital and towards any other funeral costs needed.

Barry is an amazing father of 5 and has 12 beautiful Grandchildren. He dedicated his life to live for his family and as they grew older he started to help our country. Not only did he help our local Macarthur region, he flew and drove all over Australia.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of our own, Barry Allen, SDC, who passed away yesterday at the age of 73. He was surrounded by his family and friends.

Baz was truly one of a kind. His knowledge, warmth, and sense of humour enriched our community and left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Over the course of his 14 years with our brigade, Baz played a pivotal role during some of Australia's most devastating fires. He served in various capacities, including Equipment Officer, Community Engagement Officer, President, Deputy Captain, and most recently as Senior Deputy Captain, a position he was elected to at the last AGM.

Baz's dedication and service were recognized with a long service medal, a testament to his unwavering commitment to our brigade and community. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Barry was there during our most horrific fires and devastating floods not just for Macarthur but all over NSW.

Please let's be their for him by donating towards his afterlife memorial and any other things that need to be tied off.
