Family of 5 In Need of Home

For the past three months, my father, my three sisters, and I have been living in a 11 x 24 ft. room in my aunt's home. We also have our small dog and cat in the room along with us. We've been alternating between sleeping on a couch, a blow-up mattress, a recliner, and sometimes on the hardwood floor. 

My father, who is on disability and relies on social security, could no longer afford to pay over $1,000 a month to stay in a duplex. Because renting becomes incredibly expensive in a long-term setting, he no longer feels that renting a place is the best alternative.

However, we have been looking into getting a house. Specifically one that's been forclosed on and is listed at $40,000. The problem is that my dad cannot afford this on his own and getting the loan for this home has been overwhelmingly difficult. After going to three different banks, the loan has still not been secured and we're simply running out of time.

Two of my sisters will be going off to school soon and with that, there is a numerous amount of things that require a listing for a permanent address (including loan information), and right now, we don't have one.

We typically don't ask for this kind of help, but this is simply a last resort. Any donations to this fundraiser would be incredibly appreciated by myself and my family.
