URGENT RELIEF for PALESTINIAN FAMILIES

My name is Sarah Shaheen, I am Lebanese-American living in Mexico. These past few months I have been advocating and helping families in Gaza who are enduring treacherous conditions and unimaginable hardships. Everyday they remain in Gaza is the terrifying reality that they may not survive from the next bombing or starvation. As conditions worsen and their lives threatened daily, this is an URGENT plea for HELP.

They have witnessed destruction and death all around them, heard constant explosions of bombs day and night. Their homes have been destroyed and they’ve been forced to relocate to southern Gaza, living in tents at a refugee camp, with only the clothes on their backs. We are urgently seeking assistance to get these families out of Gaza as they continue to confront the threats of war, starvation, and illness.

I'm reaching out to raise funds that will allow them to escape these disastrous conditions. The goal is to relocate them to a safer place outside of Gaza and away from imminent danger. Their saving grace for survival would be to raise money so they can evacuate via the Egyptian border (the Rafah checkpoint) through a legitimate tourist company called Ya Hala, however it comes at a massive cost of 5-7k usd per person. I have helped a family of 7 evacuate and find safety this way, but now I am asking for your help.

One family in particular that I’m urgently trying to help evacuate is Dr Oday, a 27 year old medical doctor who has been volunteering his time and services at Al Aqsa Hospital. He is kind hearted, generous and passionate with a bright future ahead of him and deserves the right to live his dream of saving humanity as a specialist diagnostic radiologist. He suffers from MCD Nephrotic Syndrome, a kidney disease for which he requires treatment and biological agent called Rituximab which is not available in Gaza due to lack of medication. Helping him evacuate Gaza will also allow him to gain access to necessary healthcare to prevent his kidneys from going into failure.

I have had the privilege to grow up in America, away from the constant threat of war and bombings, so I am using that privilege to get help for these families who are currently fighting for their lives. I will be sharing the progress and keeping you updated with photos and videos. Also, please note that I am in close contact with these families and that 100% of the donations will go towards helping them.
