Robert David Kirkland Funeral, Home - Going
Donation protected
27-year-old Robert David Kirkland was a victim of armed robbery, murder/homicide, and aggravated assault. This tragic incident occurred on November 20, 2023 at Smith and Porter apartment complex, 210 Peters Street SW Atlanta, GA, where he lived. My brother David was fatally shot just 7 days before his 28th birthday, November 27, 2023.
As his youngest sister, I have taken it upon myself to help my family by spreading awareness of this tragedy and death to gun violence. I want to use this platform to raise money for his funeral and home-going ceremony costs, which total $11,000.
My big and only brother David meant the world to me, and he was my inspiration and mentor. I loved my brother with all my heart and even though we’re 9 years apart, I always called him my twin, as our birthdays are 24 days apart. We acted JUST alike; he was truly the guy version of me, and I cherished him with all my heart.
David was a music producer that constantly spoke about how to turn your pain into passion. He was a great man and role model while navigating his life. David taught me everything I needed to know and he wasn’t done teaching me. It’s unfortunate that he passed away due to gun violence when he was the most genuine and authentic man I knew.
As his youngest sister and on his, as well as my family’s behalf, we would truly be grateful for whatever you can contribute during our time of need.
