Helping a Friend and Coworker in Need

Hi, my name is Richard and I am fundraising for Andrea Torres. Andrea is suffering from PML(Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy) which she contacted in April 2023. This is a disease of the white matter in the brain caused by a virus infection polyomavirus (JC) that targets the cells that make myelin the matter the insulates nerve cells (neurons). Andrea started losing her vision after her speech and hearing. They did a biopsy of her brain to determine what the chances for her recuperation or not.

Andrea worked as an RPN in a Long Term Nursing Home before she became ill. Her husband is the only one working and he works from home because Andrea can not be left alone. I really feel that the money raised will be able to help her and her family with any financial costs that might come up.
