Year 2 of Autism Berkshire art workshops
Donation protected
In 2020, we lost my beloved mother to breast cancer.
She spent her career working in education and had a special focus on supporting autistic young people. She wanted to make sure every child filled their potential in life.
Once she retired from teaching, she worked alongside her friend Helen with Autism Berkshire in a project supporting young adults in social settings.
After her untimely death, we wanted to honour her legacy through supporting work she was passionate about. In 2020, we planned up a series of art workshops with Berkshire Autism and finally got to run them in 2023. They were a huge success supporting over a dozen people express their creativity through art and the work produced was inspiring and showed such talent! I’d like to run them again in her honour in 2024. We funded a lot of the setup cost, so this is about day to day costs.
