Jessie's breast cancer treatment costs

We are creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of our friend, Jessica Hungate, who is courageously facing a challenging battle against breast cancer. In her journey thus far, she has demonstrated unwavering strength, resilience, and an inspiring spirit that touched all of those around her.

 

As Jessica confronts the complexities of medical and surgical treatments, we know that the financial burden can be overwhelming for her and her family. Medical bills can accumulate rapidly, adding stress to an already difficult situation. Additionally, Jessica’s immediate family is all the way in Texas. The traveling costs from flying back and forth to take care of Jessica and accompany her to treatments have been mounting. That is why we are launching this GoFundMe page – to show our support for Jessica by providing her with the financial support she needs during this critical time.

 

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. Your contribution will ensure that she receives the best care and allow her to focus on what truly matters: her health and recovery.

Firstly, I want to thank you all for your ongoing support throughout this long (and not yet completed) journey. I would never have made it this far without y’all and I am eternally grateful for literally every single one of you.

Secondly, thank you for considering donation to my GoFundMe. Now that chemotherapy and surgery are completed (yay!), I have a better idea of what my total out of pocket expenses will be for all of this. That said, please do not feel pressured to donate a thing: your love and support are more than enough!

My cancer journey is not over. Once pathology results from surgery come in, the next steps will be determined. This will hopefully include radiation and approximately 5-6 more months of immunotherapy infusions. I will then likely have surveillance imaging every 6 months for forever. I am optimistic that what is to come is far better than what is behind me. 

I know I say it often, but I truly cannot thank each of you enough for unwaveringly being there for my family and I. We will never forget it and if there is ever anything I can do for y’all one day, please don’t hesitate to reach out. <3
