Help Emilia Battle Neuroblastoma

Dear friends, friends, and community,

My name is Kim Baker and I am reaching out for support for my five year old niece Emilia who is now battling neuroblastoma.

Danielle and Adam Pigeon, loving parents to five-year-old Emilia, are facing every parent's worst nightmare. On October 17, Emilia was diagnosed with high risk, stage 2 neuroblastoma. Danielle took Emilia to the hospital for what she believed to be a stomach flu and it was discovered that Emilia has an 8cm tumor on her adrenal gland. Emilia is now in the thick of 12 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy and stem cell harvesting. Early next year she is tentatively scheduled for resection surgery, followed by 1, possibly 2, bone marrow transplants (BMT), each of which will require a 4-6 week long stay in the hospital. After the BMTs, she is set to have radiation, more chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

The emotional toll is immeasurable, as they navigate this challenging road ahead. Emilia, our Warrior Princess has been so strong. Her radiant spirit lights up any room she enters, and her resilience is a testament to the incredible fighter she is. Let's come together to surround this family with love, prayers, and any assistance they need during this challenging time.
