St. Matthias Giving Tuesday - Support our Church

Tax deductible
Dear friends,

We are a small, warm, and vibrant parish in Parma, Ohio, with a mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. We are passionate about the new evangelization, which is the call to share our faith with those who have never heard of Christ, fallen away from the Church, or are searching for meaning and purpose in life.

Mother Teresa said, "The greatest poverty in America is spiritual poverty." It is this poverty we are helping address.

Mother Teresa loved the poorest of the poor, but she saw even a greater need. She saw that America needed evangelization.

The new evangelization is a term that was first used by Pope Paul VI in 19751, and then popularized by Pope John Paul II in 19832. It has been further developed by Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, who have both emphasized the importance of joy, mercy, and dialogue in the new evangelization34.

We firmly believe that as people come to know Jesus, they will fall in love with him and want to give their lives in service.

I also believe that if we invest in the new evangelization, we will have more "fishers of men" who can teach more people how to fish. Not only will we address the spiritual poverty, but it will also help us exponentially have more people who want to serve the Church and the poor.

One of the ways we do this is by producing and distributing high-quality Catholic media content, such as podcasts, videos, blogs, and social media posts. We want to reach as many people as possible with the message of God's love, mercy, and hope.

But we need your help to continue this vital work. Our new studio will be up and running this Wednesday with our new live show at noon, "The Catholic Coffee Break with Fr. Michael Denk." We have been able to do this all through the generosity of donors. Now, we need funds to help us market our ventures to help people in Northeastern Ohio and worldwide. We rely on the generosity of our donors to cover them. That's why we are asking you to support us on Giving Tuesday, the global day of giving that falls on November 28, 2023.

Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity to make a difference in the world by supporting causes that matter to you. By donating to our parish, you will help us create more Catholic media content that can touch the hearts and minds of many people, especially the young and the unchurched.

Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated and used wisely. We are grateful for your generosity and your prayers. All proceeds will help enhance our studio and marketing.

All donations will go to St. Matthias The Apostle Catholic Church's "Wish List".

Thank you for being part of our parish family and our mission. May God bless you and your loved ones.

May you know The Father's Love for you,
Fr. Michael Denk
