Let's Help Paul in His Fight Against Cancer

Hello everyone,

This GoFundMe is to help my nephew Paul and his family to beat cancer. I would like to share a message of Andrea, wife of my beloved nephew Paul:

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted people, my name is Andrea, and I reach out to you with a heavy heart, but also filled with hope, convinced that together we can make it through.

My small family is currently facing the most challenging period. Paul, my beloved husband, is a loving father, a caring son, and a great friend. He is passionate about tourism, nature, discovering and exploring new places, and being an adventurer. He is spontaneous, and what truly defines him is his spirit of solidarity and his willingness to help anyone in need. He loves sharing experiences with people, never remains silent, and always finds an excuse to make a new friend wherever he is. He grew up surrounded by the love of his parents, family, and friends, which is reflected in his innate charisma.

A little over three years ago, a devastating illness robbed us of our peace; we have fought against all odds and battled through the most challenging moments. His diagnosis of Skin Cancer – Melanoma, unfortunately, has relapsed with multiple tumors in his neck that compromise cerebral veins, arteries, and even muscles affecting the mobility of his mouth. He has undergone four major surgeries and several oncology treatments with severe side effects. The most recent immunotherapy treatment did not yield the expected results; instead, it accelerated the disease.

My children and I strive daily to give him lots of love, and all the special attention and care he needs. We always want Pao to feel loved and to make the most of each day together. Despite these challenges, Paul remains very brave and full of hope, focused on his family and his fight to heal. Watching someone you love to suffer so deeply is a pain that words cannot describe. Our dream has always been to grow old together, and I cling to this dream with all my heart. Humbly, I ask for your support to help Paul receive the life-saving treatment he so desperately needs.

• Cover the costs of a new surgery

• Finance ongoing oncology treatments and therapies, even outside our country

• Support the living expenses of his family during this difficult time

Ayudemos a Paul en su lucha contra el Cáncer

Queridos amigos, familiares y personas de buen corazón, mi nombre es Andrea y me dirijo a ustedes con mucha tristeza, pero al mismo tiempo llena de esperanza y convencida que juntos los vamos a lograr.

Mi pequeña familia se encuentra atravesando los momentos más difíciles de la vida.

Paúl, mi esposo amoroso, el papá más consentidor, cariñoso hijo y sobre todo gran amigo. Apasionado del turismo, la naturaleza, de conocer y explorar nuevos lugares, aventurero, espontáneo y lo que más lo identifica es su espíritu de solidaridad y de ayuda a quien lo ha necesitado. Le encanta intercambiar experiencias con las personas, nunca se queda callado, en todo momento busca una excusa para hacer un nuevo amigo en donde quiera que esté. Creció rodeado del cariño de sus padres, familia y amigos y eso se refleja en su carisma innato.

Hace un poco más de 3 años, una dura enfermedad catastrófica nos ha quitado la paz, hemos luchado contra todo pronóstico, hemos batallado durísimos momentos. Su diagnóstico de Cáncer de Piel – Melanoma, que lamentablemente esta vez ha recaído con varios tumores en su cuello que comprometen venas y arterias cerebrales e incluso músculos que comprometen la movilidad de su boca.

Cuatro cirugías de gran magnitud, varios tratamientos oncológicos con efectos secundarios muy fuertes. El último tratamiento oncológico Inmunoterapia sin los resultados esperados, al contrario, ha acelerado la enfermedad.

Mis hijos y yo nos esforzamos todos los días por darle mucho amor, todas las atenciones y cuidados especiales qué necesita. Siempre queremos que papá se sienta amado y que cada día lo aprovechemos juntos intensamente.

A pesar de estos desafíos, Paúl se mantiene muy valiente y lleno de esperanza, enfocado en su familia y en su lucha por curarse.

Ver sufrir tan profundamente a alguien que amas es un dolor que va más allá de las palabras. Nuestro sueño siempre ha sido envejecer juntos, y yo me aferro a este sueño con todo mi corazón.

Humildemente pido su apoyo para ayudar a Paúl a recibir el tratamiento que le salvará la vida y que necesita desesperadamente. Sus generosas donaciones serán destinadas a:

• Cubrir los gastos de una nueva cirugía

• Financiar tratamientos oncológicos y terapias continuas incluso fuera de nuestro país

• Apoyar los gastos de vida de su familia durante este difícil momento
