Donation Matching for a Remote Nepali School

What we do:

The Pradiya Foundation: Communities face the same problems all across the world – sickness, poverty, social discrimination, environmental injustice, the list goes on. Though incredible organizations have been founded to help solve these issues over decades and centuries, many communities still struggle without aid, or become dependent upon it. The Pradiya Foundation is seeking to change that and currently working in Oda village, Nepal a remote village located deep in Himalayan Mountains. We believe that the root of these issues – and the way to solve them – is the need for healthy, self-sufficient communities that are built to last.

Call to Action

Our goal is to bring education, employment, and healthcare to individuals whose needs have been previously overlooked.

We are currently expanding our reach and building a school to support children from 45 different families in the village. We need help in funding our supplies to support our children through the winter and monsoon seasons.

Our stretch goal this winter is to upgrade from boiling water in pots on the fire, to heating water in our first hot water tank. For the first time in history, children in Oda will be able to take a hot shower in the winter, instead of struggling with freezing spring or river water to bathe.

We seek to raise $10,000 USD as a general fund to source the specific items listed below. Your help and contribution will benefit a Safe loving Children's Home, Health & Nutrition, Education, Women Empowerment, Sustainable Agriculture, living Human Rights and more.
