John Kennison Double Lung Transplant Fundraiser

Hi my name is Debbie Vaughn and I'm good friends of John & Linda Kennison from Overbrook, KS. Early in 2022 John was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. John lost the job he had been at for 38 years. He was put on oxygen full time & referred to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. John was approved for a Double Lung Transplant. Then Oct 17, 2023, they got the call to be in St. Louis ASAP. John had the surgery later that same day. John did so well, he was released from the hospital after only 9 days! Now John & Linda are living in temporary housing while John goes to PT everyday along with many doctor visits. Linda is a designer at Porterfield's Flowers in Topeka and has not been able to work since October 16. All money raised goes to all their daily expenses, medical, and expenses back home.
