Catch of the Day Cork

On the 27th November, three men heroically entered the water on Cork's Kennedy Quay to save a woman in a car that went over the edge.

One of those men, William Ross, dove in to the winter waters and smashed windows in the car to help the woman escape. In the madness, he forgot his phone was in his pocket, and was destroyed by the saltwater.

The Neil Prendeville show spoke to William this morning, and we want to raise the money for William to replace the phone he lost while heroically saving the drowning woman.

Any extra funds will also be shared with the two other heroes, Farid Langens and Kevin Roos, crewmen on separate Belgian-flagged trawlers, who also jumped in to save the woman.
