Hey, I'm Hannah. I'm raising funds to:
- Sponsor children (continuous support to cover schooling needs and living needs)
- School projects + supplies
- Other projects (yearly Christmas giving, rebuilding, emergency kits etc)
Why?
I was born in the Philippines but I pretty much grew up in the UK most of my life. There's a big difference in terms of access and opportunity between these 2 places. When I really think about living in the UK and my journey so far, I can't not think about the people in my home country. In 2018 I started Forex Trading and documenting my journey on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/hannahforex. As I started to progress and as I made more money, I wanted nothing more than to live well, take care of the people around me and do what I can so that people from my home country felt seen, heard, valued, loved and celebrated - especially when it came to young people. I started to strengthen my faith to help me discern opportunities to pay it forward and find balance. But I can't do this alone...
The idea of this GoFundMe is to gain awareness and show how these families and young people need YOU. This is a space where you have the opportunity to reach hearts and help. Each transaction, receipt, project is kept and recorded for transparency and also for tax season. I will be documenting these projects and sharing the journey and what happens on YouTube and on this page.
Important Notes:
- I don't receive/get/take/pocket any financial contributions from this project. Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
- All the funds, contributions, sources of income, and other monetary sources that go into accounts/statements are being reported to the tax man. My accounts is also looked over by an accountant and reported to the taxman annually.
- Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
