Support Khalia Robinson's Family

Beyond the Bars would not exist without Khalia Robinson. As a founding board member she was a was a constant force for good in our city and a huge part in building Beyond the Bars and so many other grassroots orgs around our city. Khalia was unwavering in her commitment to making musical spaces accessible for young people and ensuring that programs were student driven. Any challenge that faced BTB she constantly came up with creative solutions, any hardship we experienced she gave reasons for hope and pushed us forward. Earlier this year Khalia's life was tragically cut short to gun violence but the impact of her compassion, brilliance and constant commitment to our community can be seen with so many that she has impacted. We are raising funds to go directly to Khalia's family. She was a constant support to others and was there for everyone and this Giving Tuesday we want to celebrate her life by ensuring that our community shows its gratitude and love back to her incredible fam.
