My name is Emma. I started this go fund me for Shacarri, Ethan, and little Cody. At only 21, Shacarri was diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer, earlier this November. Since then, Ethan has had to take a substantial amount of time off work to take care of Shacarri and 6 month old Cody and will have to continue to do so, and they have struggled to meet medical needs and financially provide for their little family. Shacarri will be beginning 6 months of chemotherapy on December 5th in Rochester NY, and then will need to have both breasts removed and reconstructed followed by radiation. Shacarri had to have extensive dental work done in order to be cleared for chemo, much of which was out of pocket. It will be a long road of sickness and doctors bills before she can conquer this cancer and be strong and healthy enough to raise Cody. Their family is already under a huge financial struggle this early in Shacarri's battle and they are not sure how they will be able to overcome getting Shacarri the help she needs over two hours away while raising a little boy. We humbly ask for your assistance, no matter how small, to help this family. Ideally we can raise enough so that Ethan is able to care for Shacarri and Cody and pay for medical and living expenses without having to worry about financial security.
