"Playing for Keeps" by Bailey Higgins

Hello! I'm Bailey Higgins, a senior film student at Webster University in St. Louis, MO. As part of the Webster curriculum, I will create my senior overview - a short film project that is meant to showcase everything I have learned throughout the past four years.

"Playing for Keeps" takes the stereotypical story of the popular, masculine, high school football star quarterback, and subverts the audience's expectations to create a refreshing new take on the high school experience.

I have spent the past four months writing, rewriting, and perfecting the story I want to tell, and will continue to perfect the script until production starts in February. Casting is coming soon, so the next step is fundraising! 

In order to make this the biggest and best project I've made to date, I need your help! Donations will go towards the cost of location rental, equipment hauling, feeding my cast/crew, production design (props, costuming, makeup, etc), and more!
