Donate to Help a Young Student Graduate

Hello everyone. My name is Violet and I’m a second year university student at Griffith College Dublin, hoping to graduate in 2025 with a joint honours degree in communications and media production.

Ever since I was young, my parents have gone to great lengths to give me and my siblings the best possible education, no matter what country we’d just moved to or how difficult our situation was. My father in particular has shouldered that financial burden and I will always be more grateful than I can say for his continued love and support, in spite of everything.

However, my college education began to take a significant toll on my father, in more ways than one. That was why, last November, I made the decision to defer for a year to live in Spain and earn the money necessary to pay for accommodation and tuition fees in my final year and finally relieve my father of the burden he’s been bearing for so long.

Unfortunately, searching for a job here has been difficult, and I’m increasingly worried that I won’t be able to earn enough money in time for the next academic year. I will keep looking for a job and save up as much money as I possibly can, but in the meantime, any donations at all would be immensely and gratefully appreciated. Even if you can’t donate, please don’t worry - sharing this would also help enormously. Any and all funds would be used solely for tuition and accommodation fees for my final year of studying at Griffith College Dublin.
