Help the women of Dagbamete gain access to the healthcare they deserve with Bfree - a no boil, antibacterial menstrual cup. These cups have radically changed the lives of girls and women in Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Ghana has yet to accept these menstrual cups in their country and we are fundraising for a pilot study to gain approval from the Ghanaian Health Council to promote the use of these products across Ghanaian communities.
With 90% period poverty in Dagbamete and across the entire country of Ghana, menstrual products are unaffordable for 90% of girls and women. Instead, they resort to using leaves, toilet paper, fabric, and corn husks when they have their periods. Girls miss school, women lose opportunities for professional growth. With a small donation, you can make an impact and help create a more resilient an opportunistic future for menstruating people across the globe.
HELP SEND 400+ cups to the Women of Dagbamete by donating to HER (Health, Education, Rights) Ghana. This pilot study will be overseen by, Alberta Klokpa, the founder of the Dagbamete Girls’ Club.
A donation of $15 is enough to sponsor a girl or woman from Dagbamete in this pilot and support her healthcare for more than 10 years. A donation of $25 will sponsor a girl or woman and support accompanying educational training and research components. The research to educate economic outcomes for girls and women with access to menstrual products.
Please donate to participate in this pilot program for a goal of $5,000 USD. One contributor said. “In these times, this is one thing I feel really good about doing that will make a significant difference.”

Any reusable menstrual product keeps disposables out of the trash, which has broad environmental benefits by displacing potentially thousands of pads or tampons over a few year period. The BFree with its extended lifetime of up to 10 years, completely Earth friendly packaging, and potential to transform underserved communities, will create a pathway to help the planet thrive.
One of the driving forces behind the Bfree cup is the knowledge that access to education empowers young girls and boys to reach their full potential. Period poverty prevents this.
The Bfree company believes in building community through conversation. Periods are a female biological process, but they are not just a female issue; they affect us all. The boys we reach are friends and brothers today, fathers and husbands tomorrow. We owe it to our children to teach them to love and understand the biological process, including their own bodies and the women's in their lives.
Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) education is one of the pillars of the Bfree company. Menstrual cups, and menstrual hygiene in general, require knowledge of the female anatomy, and basic sanitary practices. Predictably, the taboo around the subject of menstruation assures there is no end to the questions menstruators have on the subject. We want to empower girls with knowledge that will keep them healthy and thriving, by providing quality education on SRH.
