We are Umanaya, we create organic music for ecstatic dance, for free expression in movement. We've been blessed to play for many dances and share our passion of creating a musical journey. Now we would love to capture such a musical journey.

We have recorded a new album in January 2024, and it is now in the mixing process. It is coming out in June 24. The album will be a collection of our best tracks that have been developed during the past year. It will be a journey to dive into and dance to wherever you want.

About us:

Our Story:

Umanaya was born on the magical island of Tenerife in a community that was created spontaneously in winter 2022.

As musicians and travellers, we had the wish of making this beautiful human tribe dance.

So we all gathered our instruments, equipment and inspirations to create Organic Ecstatic Dance, music that moves our bodies, hearts and souls.

The flow of life guided us to reunite Umanaya's Tribe in Switzerland to create an Organic Dance Festival.

After that, Switzerland offered us many opportunities to grow more and more, record our second album (Rising) and organise and play Ecstatic Dances in a lot of different places. Bringing the message of authenticity, deeply connected to our true self and to the earth.

Now we are part of a new community that has started last spring in Eastern France, called le Moulin d'Abondance (www.lemoulindabondance.com). This is also the place where we are going to record the new album.

Our Passion:

Introducing Umanaya, which can be translated to 'Humans of the Heart'.

Offering Organic Ecstatic Dance that invites you on a journey to connect with your inner self and with others.

A ritual to release emotions, express feelings without words and bring harmony to mind and body through the freedom of movement.

We offer a fusion of live instruments that awaken the senses, starting with a grounding introduction and guiding with sound.

Jacek carries you with the gentle melodies of the Handpan and makes all your cells dance with the craziness of his Beat-box and the rhythms of percussions.

Tiskae grounds you deep to the Earth with the vibrations of the ancient Didgeridoo and paints various landscapes with the Mouth Harp, the Hulusi and all kinds of flutes.

Nik brings you to the Space with the enchanting harmonies of the Guitar and it’s special effects.

With all this elements we create a colourful set, where we improvise with the flow of the moment. With the intension to accompany you to explore different facets of yourself and unveil your authenticity.
