Please help Kaitlyn with her Babygirl Everly

We’re creating this fundraiser for my sister Kaitlyn. On November 24th she went in for a routine check up on baby Everly and was immediately rushed into an emergency c-section due to Evie’s very low heart rate. Everly was born at 10:06 am, 7lbs 8oz and 20 inches long. Within 24 hours Evie started having seizures and was taken to NICU. After running some test and scans it was brought to our attention that the Right side of her brain did not form properly in the womb. “Lissencephaly” is a rare gene-linked brain malformation characterized by the absence of convolutions (folds) in the cerebral cortex and an extremely small head (microcephaly). “Lissencephaly” literally means “smooth brain”. Evie is in an incubator in NICU and her seizures unfortunately have worsen. They currently have her sedated to help lessen the stress of the seizures on her tiny body while they continue to work on trying to find a regimen of medication to help stop the seizures. She’s unable to do important things like eating or regulating her body temperature and she’s being kept on a ventilator. My sister has been discharged from the hospital and she is currently staying in the NICU with her little princess. But due to unforeseen circumstances Evie’s Mommy is unable to work nor do we know when she’ll be able to return back to work. So Evie’s Mommy is asking for any donations big or small to help with doctors, food, bills, gas and cost of living in general. As for us, Evie and Mommy’s “Village”, We are begging for any and all help. If you know my sister you know that she is the last person to ever deserve what she’s going through but she is also the one person who deserves all the help we can offer. My sister has ALWAYS put others, their feelings and needs and wants before her own. She is the one person in our family everyone knows they can count on or turn to be there big or small. She’ll drop everything just to be there for anything. She’s the one who will leave work just to come sit on the side of the road with you when you blow a tire just so you’re not alone. She’ll go to work on no sleep because she stayed up all night to lend an ear for all your problems. She’ll send you her last $5 for something you “want” over keeping it for something she “needs”. She is the most amazing strong woman and the literal definition of “Will give you the shirt off her back”. Unfortunately in times like these bills and life around us still goes on.
