Victim of Armed Carjacking Needs Christmas Miracle

Hello my name is David. I am a victim of a violent crime (carjacking). Saturday morning I was picking someone up for Lyft when I was approached by an armed man who demanded my car. A flight or fight response occurred within me and I defended myself. I shot once at the offender and my weapon was knocked away. A struggle ensued and I was knocked down to the ground. Unarmed, i begged for my life. I begged him not to kill me and that I had a baby at home. I believe he intended to shoot me, but during the struggle for his weapon, through the graces of god, his magazine was discharged from his weapon. They took my vehicle afterwards and crashed it, totaling it. I have no job whatsoever now to provide for my family and pay my bills. Christmas is around the corner and I’m so desperate. I have two children aged 6 and 10 months. I wish this upon nobody and appreciate ANY donation made. I’ve lost my car and my job, but thankfully I’m alive.

11/30/23 UPDATE: thank you and god bless each and everyone who has donated so far to our family. We still need much more help because the offenders totaled my car. The deductible is $2500 and bills are due soon and I have absolutely no income to support my family due to this criminal. life sucks right now. If everyone can please share and support us in this crazy time in our lives. I’ll never forget you ❤️ I just wanna help my babies have a good Xmas and not worry about all these bills. I’m praying these donations can help lead us to purchasing another vehicle. I just want to work and provide.
