Help Me Help A Father ...

Hi, it's Leilani Hollywood here in behalf of not only my manager, but one of my closest friends in music and family Richard Varrasso. Felix his youngest son, just started community college 3 months ago at Colombia he just turned 19 and his transportation was a motorcycle. One weekend 6 weeks ago he was going home to see his dad and another driver misjudged his timing and broad swiped Felix. He broke every bone in his body, but luckily the $400 helmet his dad bought him saved the small hematoma from tragedy. He almost lost his entire right leg, however the doctors at Modesto Memorial were able to save it. He's been recovering in the ICU for the last 6 weeks and has at least 2 more months there while the remaining of his injuries heal. At first he couldn't speak clearly and we were told he'd have brain damage. But since then he's recovered his ability to stand, talk and laugh, it's a miracle!

As a calabash auntie I'm so happy that we didn't lose him. But it's hard to see a single dad and his mom living at the hospital without a bed and a half a couch to sleep on, but only with great spirits. I started this fundraiser because we all know how hard it is to ask for help for yourself. Also, who wants to think of finances when all you want to do is save your son from pain and confusion. So I thought auntie would step in and in a Hawaiian style way ask for help from everyone who's been sending love and affection. The family is so grateful for all your prayers and thoughts and I wanted to THANK EVERYONE for them as well.

Felix is so grateful for all the LOVE....I took video messages from everyone wishing him a Happy Thanksgiving in the ICU and he was so happy he made me take a thank you video to everyone which I will post so you can see good he's doing with all your LOVE.
